Fantastic Design! Introducing Folk Coat by Bartosz Gajec

Folk products are unpretentious, high quality and minimal...

This is my first coat from this label and instantly my favorite one, I tend to wear it almost every day.

The coat is very well tailored, made from high quality wool with cool and very original design of front pockets which are hold by a leather strap.  Beautiful detailing + stitching are usually hidden which results in a smooth and seamless look of the coat.

Sizing is their own starting from 1 (XS) ending on 6 (XXL).

Few Facts:

Folk was founded in 2001 by Scottish designer Cathal McAteer, offering high quality wardrobe staples characterised by considered detail. Rather than being led by seasonal trends, Folk clothing focuses on finding the perfect shape, colour and fabric for each piece, ensuring Folk menswear carries a distinct brand identity without compromising on their classic and wearable style.

Minimalism & Simplicity - All Saints Coat by Bartosz Gajec

I love simplicity...minimalism...design with no unnecessary details, no buckles hanging around with no use whatsoever. Classic but not boring as lack of additional features you could compensate with cool colour and textured material.

...and that is exactly what All Saints designers did creating this coat. Concealed buttons, hidden hand pockets, classic collar and earthy brown colour with nicely textured high quality 100% wool.

That kind of design will match most of your outfits, it is like a blank canvas giving you a chance to mix it with whatever you have in mind. Wear it casual with jeans and even heavy boots or elegant with material trousers, shirt and waistcoat...for example.

Look for simplicity, high quality and close tailored fit and you all set.

COS Coat - Minimalism - New 2014 Collection by Bartosz Gajec

2 days ago, while Christmas shopping I make myself a present in a form of a coat. I've never own COS before as I wasn't sure if I like the brand but this coat's design, fit and quality caught my attention. Colour is also brilliant, dark grey which is perfect to mix with black and all shades of brown. Design is so minimal with hidden pockets and buttons, so much to my taste, that I couldn't resist.

Sizing is regular, more on slim fit side.

Below are some images of the coat I took right before going out to work. Days are so short now that either I have to do photos right before I leave to work or at lunch time...do I complain? It is what it is and honestly I do like the time right before Christmas as I am so full of ideas and hopes for next year.

Give yourself a little Merry Christmas gift to celebrate end of 2014 and start of 2015!

On me: COS wool coat, brown wool Uniqlo jumper, black skinny jeans, really cool Massimo Dutti ankle boots (collection 2014).
